Julio Bara is the National Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager at Clayton Utz. Julio is responsible for the strategic development and management of Clayton Utz Health, Safety and Wellbeing Program.
Julio is an experienced consulting professional with more than ten years’ of health, safety and wellbeing management experience. Julio has a degree in Human Movement (Exercise Physiology) and a Masters in Occupation Health and Safety (majoring in Health Management). In that time he has assisted his clients in managing people risk, operational risk, corporate governance and compliance. This is across a landscape of insurable and non-insurable risks and across a broad range of industries
He is an Exemplar Global accredited lead auditor in Integrated Management Systems and has completed numerous safety and risk management audits both locally and internationally. He is a Chartered Member of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) and Graduate Member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
In previous roles, Julio has assisted Clients achieve Safety and Risk compliance that operate across multi-national and international borders. Now, Julio works closely with key stakeholders in the firm to help them achieve their corporate goals and strategy by advising on the successful management of workplace risk. He promotes a sensible approach to risk management that identifies solutions, adds value and achieves compliance. Within his role, Julio oversees the safety audit programs, incident investigation, safety management program development and implementation.
